Qizls' SOCCER gpotts This year six enthusiastic teams of girls stayed after school to partici- pate in the Soccer Color games. The girls played hard games but enjoyed the sport. Frances Guercio's team won the championship. After the Color games were played, the Class teams played. This tou1'na- ment resulted in a tie for first place. After the foul-shooting contest the seventh and eighth grade girls ran a relay, with the eighth winning by a small margin. Seventh-grade girls taking part were VV. Brady, I.. Ostasiuk, P. Zahn, B. Miss Hurst The Dover Activities Club is one of our most active clubs. This past year it sponsored two dances, gave the team a football banquet, helped ar- range Soccer Play Day at North Olmsted, and had a Weiner roast after a soccer game. This club also took care of selling refreshments at home foot- ball games. Every year the D.A.C. initiates new members.
