Uafzsitxf gasfzettvau EUGENE KLINK - Hughie', proved him- self to be one of the finest set shots in the county this year. His uncanny shooting ability plus a terrific amount of speed made him a unanimous choice for the all-tourna- ment team at Orange. GREGORY BI'nNEsoN -- Greg,' played an important part in the success of our team this year. Used extensively as a backboard specialist, Greg scored in double figures a good percentage of the time. His fine work at Orange placed him also on the tourna- ment team. ' Bon GAVALEK-Not really hitting his stride 'til midseason, Bob proved to be our key man in the Orange tournament. Being high scorer both games and sharing the bulk of the offensive backboard control with Greg enabled Bob also to make the tourna- ment team. JOHN LIICHELICH - John, this year,s cap- tain, proved himself a fine leader, as our records show. He is a defensive wizard be- sides being a clever ball handler and play- maker. John invariably scored when the chips', were down. DICK CORNISH - Dick was our high scor- er this year leading the team with 187 points. Aside from being a fine shot from the side, he is an excellent dribbler, breaking up the opponents' defense numerous times. AL HENNIE - Al, the lefty of the twins, proved very valuable this year, using a left handed push-shot to be one of the teams top point-getters. ED HENNIE -- Ed displayed fine ability this year in both offense and defense. He reached his peak in the North Royalton game when he poured in 19 points. Bon HITNGER - Bob,', playing his last year of high school basketball as did the oth- er seniors, did a fine job as guard. SAM SPOONER - Sammy, although not seeing a great deal of action, showed that he could set shot with the best of them. PAUL VVISE - Paul, at 6 foot 1 inch, played good defensive ball in his last year. His height enabled him to snare many re- bounds. ALEX KALAPIS - Alex', didn't see a great amount of action but showed that he would be an important factor in the success of next year's ball club. Louis RADIl'E - Louie also is a next year,s hopeful as he is an adept shot and is quite fast. JOHN FOSTER - John,' possesses a great amount of spring in his legs which we know will be a great help next year. Louis DUCHEZ 1 Coach, Bruce Ward and Otto Klaamyer - Managers. Once again Coach presented Dover with a basketball team which will be well remembered. The two managers were very capable and both would have participated on the squad if not plagued with physical difficulties.
