I would tell my teacher that my locker was jammed or that 1 had car trouble, or 1 forgot my combo cause it was rigged, or some- thing stupid like that. We told the cop that we thought it was our friend ' s 4x4. The cop didn ' t believe us and told our parents anyway. It was my first time and I was scared of heights. About one-fourth of the way down, someone at the bot- tom grabbed on the rope and started playing Tarzan and almost caused me to fall. I was so scared if I didn ' t keep repelling I would have died. - sophomore Cheryl Woomer ■ what was the worst thing you were really de- termined to do and why were you so determined?
