DISTRICT PRINCIPAL Dr. Langlitz, our former District Principal, shares an important distinction with this year's seniors. He and they arrived at Westhill at approximately the same time--he as the schooI's first principal and they as the schooI's first seventh graders. Now, as the first graduating class to progress through WesthiII's complete six-year program, Dr. Langlitz has also graduated. For he left us recently to accept the position as Secretary to the New York State Teachers RetirementBoard. With Dr. Langlitz go the best wishes ofthose who remember him and the birth of Westhill. We hope that he will look back with fond re- membrance on the days when he was the prin- cipal--and we the students--ofa half-completed high school. Dr. Harold N. Langlitz
