ADVISORY COMMITTEES Advisory committees composed of local business, trade, and industry are appointed for each trade as required by the State Department of Vocational Education. Their function is to assist in an advisory capacity concerning new trends, proceedures, and course requirements so that prospective workers may be adequately informed of current re- quirements. Special conferences and meetings are held for any specific services which these committees may ren- der, and in doing so, close contact is maintained between school and industry.
