The spirit of art whispered in an eery voice, Let there be FOLIO. And nine partook of home-baked cookies and apple cider on the first day. On the second day, it was said, Let the staff of FOLIO flourish. Applications were spread throughout the darkness. The spirit captured nine new foliolios and it was so. On the third day, the staff gathered together in one place, and it was sent forth to English classes and through hallways to plant the seed of inspiration in the earth of imagination. The tree that sprung yielded poetry, prose, artwork and photography. Boxes were created to receive these gifts. The staff whispered unto them, Be fruitful and multiply. And, lo, except for the purple ones, it was good. And the staff said, Let us rejoice. It gathered together in one place with the spirit of holidays joining the spirit of art. Songs, stories, laughter and warmth filled the air. The earth bore cakes, cookies, pastries and bread, and gifts were spread among all. And this was the evening of the fourth day. On the fifth day, the spirit looked upon the ERC and said, Let the staff bring forth abundantly the morning creatures that have talent. And so came dancers and singers, readers and musicians, poets that reciteth and people that clappeth. All celebrated the spirit and were blessed with warm drink and every brownie after its kind. And it was good. On the sixth day, the staff said, Behold! Enough poems for a magazine. And it made two great piles, one of words and one of images. And these were shuffled to fill the corners of the pages of the great book and to divide the light poems from the poems of darkness. Thus, the labors were finished. On the seventh day, the staff saw everything that it had made. The staff thanked its wise gardener of the tree of inspiration and rested among poems and drink and all that was good. The spirit of art bathed all in warm light and FOLIO ’85 was very, very good. Law is a large field; There is Negligence law. Compensation law, Patent law, just to name a few. This club shows the many aspects and alternatives that law has to offer. People interested in becoming lawyers can see what law they are interested in and find out first hand what a Patent attorney, or a Negligence lawyer does, and then decide whether that branch of law is for them. It gives students a chance to see what law is from a job standpoint, what a starting lawyer’s salary should be in that specific field. The law forum's activities include guest speakers, and field trips to legal institutions around the country. Law is a necessary part of everyone’s life, so everyone is encouraged to attend our meetings. You'll actually find that law is interesting. PSYCHOLOGY CLUB Psychology Club? . . . yeah, sure!
