She has given unseliishly of her Time and TaIenTs in Teaching and Training The musical groups of which we are so proud. ATTer graduaTing from Kearny High School as valedicTorian of her class, Miss Grimler received her Bachelor of Science degree from The Juilliard School of Music and Then her MasTer's degree from Columbia UniversiTy. She TaughT Tor several years in PiTman, New Jersey, and Then came To WesTTield, where she is Supervisor of Music in The Public Schools. Along wiTh The worlc she does in The schools, Miss Grimler direcTs The WesTTield Music Club Chorus. She is acTive in The New Jersey EducaTional AssociaTion and has iusT Tinished her Term as presidenT of The music deparTmenT of The organizaTion. ln I944 Miss Grimler direcTed The All STaTe High School Chorus, which is sponsored by The New Jersey EducaTional AssociaTion. By inspired direcTing, by superb organizaTion of groups. and, Though we haTe To admiT iT, by Those much maligned 7:45 A. M. rehearsals, Miss Grimler has had greaT success in producing superior high school music. Miss 6rimler's success cannoT be measured, however, only by laudaTory criTicism and widespread acclaim. Success in Teaching lies Tar beyond achievemenTs such as ThaT. Miss Grimler Teels ThaT her real purpose lies in Teaching her sTudenTs To sing properly, in helping Them To gain poise and coniidence beTore an audience, and in giving Them an undersTanding of and a TasTe for good music ThaT can be a never ending source of pleasure and relaxaTion Tor The resT of Their lives.
