Shamrock Times The Shamrock Times, an eight page mimfographed paper. was published again this year. This paper. a member of the National Mimeograph Exchange. is a bi-weekly pub- lication. The paper is distributed to each student in the township free of charge. Adver- tising taken by local merchants covers all costs of materials for printing, News from Jolietville, Horton. and Westfield grades is published as well as high school items. The material includes honor rolls. sports, editorials. class activities, various types of feature, and departmental activities. An exchange has been developed by which we receive tweiry school papers from other states as well as papers from Indiana schools. The editorial staff, under the supervision of Miss Leakey. takes care of all reporting. editing. writing headlines. and general make-up of the paper, The Dress staff. comprised of commercial students, with Miss Maze as sponsor. has charge of typing, cutting -of stencils. art work and mimeographing. Staff members are chosen by the respective Sponsors on the basis of experience and work done. Charlotte Wood was editor-in-chief for the first semester. and Mary Joan Smith succeeded her in that position for the second semester.
