The captain of Varsity is Martha Beale, and the captain of Junior Varsity is Margaret Beale. Besides cheering, the group sponsored two dances during the school year to earn money for new uniforms. At the end of the season they participated in matches at the Jamestown courts. It takes time to develop a tennis player. and this was a huilding year for the Westfield squad.
