CLASS OF 1943 On September 8, 1942 about forty-five young people strolled with grace and dignity to the honored seats in the back of the Study Hall. At last we were Seniors! Eleven long years we had struggled to get those seats, and there wasn't a one of us who wasnit a bit proud, even though we didnit admit it. XVe have had our ups and downs with work, solid session, civilian defense, the Senior play, the yearbook, history assign- ments, the opera, physical education, the draft board, dances, athletics and a myriad of other things. We even experienced the sorrow of losing one of our classmates.
