Sophomores were: John Crass, David Kallenbach, Mickey Nielsen, and Mike Solchenberger. Freshmen were: Arthur Gray, Mike Olsen, and Tom Weiler. The squad competed in meets, including the Oshkosh and Royall invitationals, the W. I. A. A. regional at Madison, and the Vacationland Conference Meet, hosted by Royall at Union Center. Their record was one victory and eight other finishes. Mike Olsen won the captain's star five times; and Mike Solchenberger won it three times; Mickey Nielsen and David Kallenbach led the Pioneers across the finish once each. Besides guiding the Westfield cross country team, Coach Constance achieved in a different field. His book of poems On the Highways was published this fall. The Annual Staff congratulates him on this first . 47 F. Rogers Constance, Coach VARSITY BASKETBALL ROW 1: Chuck Huebner, Rusty Nelson, Brian Walters, Jim Wandrey, Tim Houslet. EXCHANGE STUDENT Westfield's first exchange student, Armando Adler of San Paulo, Brazil, arrived here in December 1969, for a three month's stay in the community. However, he likes it here very much, and has made many friends. 73 Nah.. .what am I talking about! MEMORY MAKERS Let It Please Be Him!
