English Mrs. Joye Kuhlka, English 11 and 12; Mr. Rogers Constance, English 9 and 10; instruct students in one of the most important subjects in our curriculum - English. Students learn the essentials of written and spoken commun- ication. Through poetry reading and litera- ture units, appreciation is developed for the literary masters. Mrs. Kuhlka puts a great deal of work into making her English courses interesting and en- joyable. Poetry and literature are a favorite part of Mr. Constance’s classroom teaching. A part of the freshman English in Mr. Bren- holt’s class is the diagraming of a sentence to learn its entire meaning. - 12 -
