HERE COMES THE COURT IN THE GRAND MARCH. CAPTAIN JOHN BUCHHOLZ IS CROWNING KING EDDIE THALACKER. Joe Schrank Patsy Swick Ken Giese Danny Wiese Tom Collins Mrs. Lois Gohlke Director Kathleen Maager Mary Lou Stelter Nordean Fietz SENIOR CLASS PLAY A MAN CALLED PETER Peter Marshall (Mike Ingram) has gathered into his home the young people of the Community (Dean Alexander, Shirley Hamilton, Patricia Horton). His wife (Joanne Severson) knows how ready he is to overtax his strength in behalf of others. To Peter life is service. Two older members of the church (Kathleen Maager, Mary Lou Stel- ter) are scandalized when they walk in on their minister. But Peter has more serious problems. He even opposes a distinguished senator (Ken Giese) who is determined to jail a boy who has errored (Joe Schrank). The burden be- comes heavier when his wife's health fails and then his own, just as he is about to start a new and important un- dertaking. Others appearing in the play are Susan (Pat Swick), her parents Marion and Steven (Nordean Fietz, Dan Wiese) and George (Tom Collins) to whom Susan is engaged. Hilda (Ka- ren Collins) is the housekeeper. Peter John (Ralph Roney) is Mr. and Mrs. Marshall's son. SENIOR CLASS PLAY SNAPS FIRST ROW; T. Collins, J. Manweiler. E. Bartz, P Runnels. S. Quinn, D. KOHN Principal Marquette University Illinois Institute of Technolog University of Wisconsin W. S. C. Oshkosh It is so easy to shake the hand of the graduating senior and say, Good Luck I But saying only that assigns to mere luck” an exaggerated importance in life. Almost always luck is not something that just happens; it is the result of what we do or do not do. We must make our own luck. To me the most Important single factor in leading a successful life is knowing, under- standing, yes--loving our fellow man. Call it good human relationship! Call it get- ting along with people! Practice it daily and it will bring you all the good luck which you can use. It will bring you the blessings of the author of that Commandment; for it is a Commandment!
