September 4 October November December January February March April May School Diary School begins--but teachers can relax, Juniors and Seniors have come with all the answers! 10 Student body elects cheerleaders. 16 Seniors . take off school to have pictures taken at Galley’s. 19 Didn't quite make it—lost our first conference game to Wautoma. 24 Lyceum program-GirIs go goo-goo over Scotch Trio!! 29 Initiation—Oh, those long underwear and bathing suits!? 3 Homecoming parade, game and dance—Seniors float wins first. 6 Bells clang loud and long (fire drill.) 11 Clarion and Pioneer staffs increase their knowledge at Madison. 12 White bucks new fad at W.H.S. 27 Bookkeeping Class visits Westfield, State Bank. 29 Will-O-Wisp steals first place to represent Westfield in District One Play Contest. 1 G.A.A. participates in Athletics at Madison (Brother! Stiff??) 2 Mrs. Schultz goes for a flip (In her car.) 3 Wi11-0-Wisp wins again. 6 Hip-Hip Hooray---Teachers off to Convention! 10 Teachers got lonesome. They're back again. 13 F.H.A. goes to Oxford for Rally—Big Deal!! 21 First basketball game and we won over Wautoma 26-24. 22 Will-O-Wisp wins another A at Stevens Point. 23 Lyceum----Special request for a song for Mr. Clark— Honeybun. 27 Thanksgiving Vacation begins. So long, every one! 5 Lose thriller to Omro here—37-40. 8 Senior pictures delivered and Galley takes pictures of underclassmen. 12 Everyone gloomy. Lose another thriller to Tri-County in overtime. 15 Wore our coats till noon----No Heat! 19 Best part of School—Christmas Vacation. 5 Everyone in a dither—just can't face the books. 16 Midnight Oil Starts Burning—End of semester. 21 Senior play The Curious Savage packs the -gym. 19 Fantasy of the North holds audience spellbound.’. 20 Winners emerge from Local Forensic Contest. 25 Madison bound again. Senior girls take tour of Wisconsin General Hospital. 27 Tournament ends with Westfield losing championship to Oxen. 15 Deadline for Annual—Will they make it? Editorial staff wild! 19 Coaches AND students take off for state tournament?? 25 Vaudeville show a huge success. (Thanks to Seniors) 28 District Forensic Contest. 30 Lyceum—A. L. Collins (and his guns) 3 Easter Vacation starts. 11 State Forensic Contest. 17 Senior Carnival the hit of the year!!! 2 Music Festival at Plainfield. 7 Underclassmen green with envy! Seniors leave on trip to Chicago. 9 W.H.S. Guys and Dolls look terrific at Junior Prom, the event of the year, with the theme Moonlight and Roses. 20 Pioneer handed out. The Best Ever!!! 24 Baccalaureate Service—Won't be long now. 26 Class Night—What a Riot.'! 28 Commencement, Not many dry eyes. 18
