The Future Homemakers oa erica is an organization composed of girls who are working toward the goals of future homemakers. Our chapter participates in many local and state ac- tivities throughout the year. Last spring we took a trip to Rib Hill and Wausau. The State Convention was held at Green Lake. Gloria Messerschmidt. Susan Hamilton, Dorothy Henke, and Betty Schwanke took an active part in the program. Many of our girls exhibited and attended the state fair. Participation in the county fair included style review, Judging contests, and exhibits. The FHA won first prize on their float. Among the other functions of the FHA were: a district rally, which was held in Westfield, a radio broadcast, a Mother-Daughter party, demonstration contest, and conferring of degrees. 1C
