The highlight for the fighting panthers of this season was the im- pressive 19-0 defeat of the strong Adams-Friendship team—the first loss for A-F on their own field. The fine team work and play showed the outstanding playing of immovable Scharnberg, guard; all around play of Capt. Smith, end; fine running of Sutor; left half; great job of centering by Hamilton, center; the passing and plunges of Capt. Christensen, fullback; those dangerous sweeps by Marks, right half; those two linemen, Buchholz and Hoffmann, tackles; and that fine punting and pass catching of Fredrick, end. The Panthers lacked weight but made it up in speed and team work.
