The national organization of boys studying Vocational Agriculture known as the Future Farmers of America, was founded in November 1928. Six years after the founding of the organization at Kansas City, forty-seven states and territories of Puerto Rico had formed an association of Future Farmers of America affiliated with the National organization. To-day there are two hundred fifteen local chapters with nine hun- dred twenty active members in Wisconsin. 25
