The gr'eatest event in sports this year' was the making of the first home run hit in thir- teen years by Bob Poulin. We made our mark in interclass sports any- xvay but our two stars would have kept up our reputation had no one else entered the field. Then as it has happened to all other sophomore classes the junior year crept upon us and did We think we were important tnen! Our crust was positively amazing. But in all seriousness we were pretty proud because we had something in common with the seniors-we were upperclasssmen now. We had our own Prom dressed in blue and white and so grand for our meagr'e means that I dont think that we who at- tended will ever forget it. Our sponsor Miss Graves took the biggest part in putting it over and to her thanks are due. This thi d year' as usual we ordered some more rings and pins a little different from lrst year s but still with the same Westfield High seal on them. At the same time we made an amendment to our constitution dealing with terms of office with- in the four' years. Later on we elected junior' ushers for the Senior Prom and graduation.
