TSEA Texas Student Education Association is open to any student interested in teaching as a career. Members also belong to the National Education Association and the Texas State Teachers Association. The state convention in Dallas was one yearly highlight. Officers include Barry Rinker, Debi jersey, Carla McCollum, Kim Hairston, Myrna johnson and Cindy Klepper. The Artisans Club is made up of students interested in the many facets of art. The club takes field trips to further this interest, and finances them by such fu nd raising projects as selling prints of famous paintings. This year the group toured Santa Fegand Taos, New Mexico. Officers are Sherry Taylor, Marsha C-orczynski, and Dona Osborn. Sponsors are Warren Cullar and Mike Thornton. Mb'

PEW PhiThetaKappa Phi Theta Kappa is the only national honor fraternity for two-year colleges recognizing academic excellence. To be eligible, students must be full-time and maintain an overall 3.2grade average. The group sold student , directories in November.
