iiWhatis Past Is Prologue William Shakespeare What has been learned in classes at WWTI from teachers, students, formally, and informally this year is now behind us and will serve as the foundation and the beginning for each student as he enters his occupation. It is the student who must identify concepts that he has learned and directly apply them where ap- propriate in the job situation. The formal education may be completed, but there is a family of man, a un- iversity of thought outside the classroom where getting along with people is a key to every stage of the transi- tion of learning, working and every stage thereafter. Forward The purpose of the pictorial anthology is to provide a visual statement of who attended and a glimpse at what has happened at Western Wisconsin Technical Institute this past school year. iTis time to bid a fond farewellv-and Godspeed to' the graduates. Thereis work to be done today! Progress beckons with an eager hand, and the products of the future are waiting for fresh minds to invent and produce them. The quality of Eijobs waitingii for you today is ab- normally large. There are plenty of thema-in all shapes and sizes. Common sense tells you then that your investment in an education at Western Wisconsin Technical Institute has equipped you to meet the challenges of modern technology, and possibly has given you a glimpse of the wonder world of tomorrow. But remember-education does not stop on graduation day. All life is a time of learning and relearning. Strive for quality in your work, in your everyday life, and in your continuing education. That's why I changed to the servicing program. Also, I got a job and noticed that employers look down on students who are ufresh out of schoolf, Courses should stress that the boss is still king as well as the importance of continuing to learn and experiment rather than being a carbon copy of the teacher.
