ATHLETIC 3001577 me r ov Bob Brown, Jim Verstraete lTreasurerl, Don Mclnnis lPresident1, Steve Pink. Year T963-64 was a very successtul year tor athletic activities here at W.O.A.S. Teams in hockey, basketball, and volleyball represented the school in various leagues, exhibition games, and tournaments. There was also very keen compe- tition again this year tor the intramural volleyball trophy. The new curling rink at Ridgetown was used by the Westags. We had a six team intramural curling league started this year and it is quite probable that there may be a school team next year. ln the spring we held our indoor-outdoor athletic competition which included T2 events in which much enthusiasm was shown by the boys. The competitors in these events were given points tor their placings. Points were also given to players competing on sch I teams and on intramural teams. The boy with the most points wins the athlet ot the year award. The Athletic Society would like to thank our Staff Adviser, Mr. Willson, the coaches of the various teams, and all those who supported our athletic events during the past year. President. QD Wi 55
