Even though we are small. we are growing. This year we entered a basketball team in l Maybe Stauffer will coach t . , US nex year the City league. We dldn't win too many, but we beat Chatt, last year's champions. Here are a few action shots of one of the games. Watch the hands, buddy! Could I have the ball now? You had it long enough. I made one! I made one! I think I heard something rip.

On this page I would like to say thank you to a few people who haven't been given the credit they deserve. These people, very unselfishly, have given much of their time and talent to the school during the last three years. Carol Davis has spent three years on the Student Council, two of these in the position of treasurer. She has served on the yearbook staff and worked as a school librarian for three years. Last year she was crowned Queen of the Dance, an honor which she justly deserved. God bless you Carol, and may you always be happy. Phyllis Deitsch has been on the Council one year in the position of secretary. She has been on the yearbook staff for two years and has served as librarian for three. Phyl is a tremendous worker and is liked by everyone. Her personality and charm are tops. Lots of luck, Phyl. The third person I'd like to recognize is Mable Thomas. This wonderful person is an asset to any school and WOEF was lucky enough to have her as a student. Mable has served on the Council and yearbook staff for two years. She is a very hard worker and a wonderful person. Her future in teaching will be very profitable to those she will teach. The best to you Mable. Another person I'd like to recognize is Roget Bigelow. This was Roger's first year on the Council. He served well in the position of Vice President. Roger has served on the yearbook staff for two years and this year he was crowned King of the Dance. 1 wish you all the luck in the future Rog. Another person that deserves a big thank you is George Kalal. George hasn't been on the Council but he has worked along with it. The wolf on this cover, which is the school's mascot, was designed by him. Also, blue and silver are the school's colors. George has also worked very hard with the yearbook staff during the last three years. Thank you George for helping us whenever we needed you. Good luck in all your endeavors. The last person I would like to say thanks to is Richard Stein. This young man was the first Student Council President at WOEF. During his administration, the first yearbook, King and Queen Dance, and Student Council constitution were started. He served as head editor for the first two yearbooks and did the job well. Thank you Rich. You did a tremendous job. With people like you around, there will always be a Council and a yearbook. The best to you in everything. These are just a few people who have helped make these last three years a suc- cess. All of their hard work hasn't been expressed in this small piece of writing. The one thing that can be said of these people is that they are the greatest. It was an honor to have known and worked with all of you. May you always have success and happiness as your companions.
