The purpose and function of the student council is clearly defined in its constitution, the writing of which was the first HT t MEON.NQNN-EQQWQ project of the council. The council, under the presidency of Rich Stein, also sponsored two school dances. The last undertaking of the year by the student council was the acquisition of this first yearbook of memoirs at W.O.E. F. However, $5,000 was allocated to the purchase of books which will be available to the stu- dents next fall. The library has been used a great deal for study. Shown in above picture are co- librarians Carol Davis and Phyllis Deitsch. 730 0A9 fore The Cottage Bookstore, under the able operation of Mrs. Belknap and Mrs. Schelich, has been a great help to the stu- dents of W.O.E.F. Located adjacent to the school, it offers an ample supply of reference books, extracurricular reading material, and an abundance of school associated articles such as sweatshirts, bookcovers, etc. The bookstore has grown rapidly since its opening and is continuing to do so. 9711090 013 uaf yd? 37300122 The small room in the northwest corner of the sec- ond floor is used to house our audio-visual aids equip- ment and tape recorders.
