1968 Activity Day Picnic Held At Wedgewoood JSA W E K, Rides like the Twister kept Warriors entertained for a day, fexcept for those who got sick!j The sponsors had a lot offun, too, and the 'Bumper Cars if Mrs. Hasley enjoys an ice cream cone as Warriors in the back ground wait their turn to ride. The two on the right are typ- ical ofa lot of tired people who were worn out at the end of the day. The teachers who went to the picnic as sponsors had their own buffett lunch and each teacher brought a dish of food. were among their favorite rides. It 's all over! The buses left Wedgewood in time to get the stu- dents back to school by 2:00. Those who went to the Picnic Whee! This is a Student Council project which was headed by Bob Hayward last Spring. Many Special Proiects Keep Warriors Interested CAREER DA Y was sponsored by the Business Club. All ninth graders were allowed to choose their field of inter- est and guest speakers were invited to speak to them. Almost every occupa- tional area was represented. At the beginning of the day, the speakers gath- ered in the gym for a general assemblyg then they broke up into specialized groups for lectures and discussions. The program ended with a luncheon in the library.
