KV. 4 1 P After bringing his opponent to the mat, Jim Nance hopes for a chance to pin him. The Western Oaks wrestling squad with the assistance of Coach Guilliams and Practice Teacher, Mr. Harris, have put in many long, hard hours of practice this year learning skills and wrestling tech- niques, and one of their biggest jobs was keeping their weight down. Even though the squad was not always victorious, they fought hard and always showed good sportsmanship that is typ- ical of all Western Oaks athletes. That long-awaited moment is almost here as Tony Brotherton struggles fiercely to pin his opponent while the referee stands ready. Bottom Row: Mahlon Cooley, Ricky Deaton, Biff Olson, Gary Zemp, Gene Glendinning, Terry Prescott, Bobby Parker, Gary Daniels, and Alan Axworthy, Row 2: Jim Castoe, Joe Allen, Robert Wynne, Larry Ward, Tim Wilson, Bill Semtner, Dan Hoskins, Vernon Browntielcl, and Doug Miller, Row 3: Mr. Guilliams, coach, Larry Wells, Gene Rollins, Jerry Voyles, Jim Nance, Tony Brotherton, Mike Jackson, Gary Hensen, and Gerre Griffin. Back Row: Paul Gabbert, Larry Topaum, Keith Horn, Clevie Campbell, Dan Forgue, Bill Chaney, Ronnie Wyatt, Robert Goodner, and Craig Lyman. ' 'I-IDQA 3 L 13 1 K A
