The major activities of the band each year are the Christmas and Easter concerts which are presented to the student body, and the contest season each Spring where the band members compete both as a group and in separate ensembles against rival schools for honors . 24

Also there have been many improvements in the 13 member Band Council, who wrote a constitution this year and decided to order letter sweaters for the members of the A band and council members. To climax the outstanding activities of the band, one 9th grader was presented the award for being the OUTSTANDING BAND MEMBER at the Spring Concert. 25
