The journalism Department is divided in- to two classes, newspaper and yearbook. The yearbook staff members receive only 1X2 credit while the newspaper class mem- bers receive l full credit because they study journalistic principles from the text- book. A great deal of extra time and hard work go into the yearbook and newspaper, and the students try hard to give the stu- dent body of Western Oaks publications that represent the school well. The yearbook editor, Paula Buffington, and the Tribal Tribune editor, Randy I-Iyatt,spend much time working with Mrs. Troy, sponsor, in the planning of the two Journalism publications.
