For this reason, Western Oaks students are provided with the best teachers and facilities the school system can provide. Seventh graders take either mathematics or modern math, according to their mathematical ability, and modern math and composite math are offered to eighth graders. Ninth graders begin in a new mathematical system as they take algebra in their last year at Western Oaks. Composite math is also offered to freshmen.
