Mr. Shelby Edwards is head basket- ball coach at our college and teaches men's physical education, health, and engineer drawing. He gained his BA and MA from Colorado State College. Mr. Edwards offers a variety of experiences in his classes through student partici- pation in activities, lectures, and labs. QQ Holding women's physical education classes and serving as a sponsor of the college's Booster Club is Mrs. Margaret Fitzmorris. Her class provides an oppor- tunity for the individual or group to act in situations which are mentally stimu- lating, physically wholesome, and socially sound. Mrs. Fitzmorris earned her BA from Denver University. Mr. Arthur Russell, instructor of Bio- logical Sciences at Scotts Bluff College, heads the division of Life Sciences. He received his BS from Chadron State Col- lege, MS from the University of Nebraska, and has done advance study at the Uni- versity of Texas. Challenge Offered in Math-Science Field The oxidation-reduction reaction process is explained to chemistry classes by instructor Mr. Yarnell. Mr. Larry Yarnell teaches organic and general chemis- try, quantitative and qualita- tive analysis. He received his AB and has clone graduate study at Colorado State Col- lege. Mr. Virgil King is instruc- tor of physics and physical science. He received his BS from Chadron State College, and his MS from the Univer- sity of Utah. Mr. King aims to arouse a student's curiosity and help him gain an under- standing of his environment. Independent reasoning on the part of the student is im- portant in Nlr. John Koch's classes. Mr. Koch instructs bi- ology, botany, and micro- biology. He earned his BS from Wayne State College and his MS from Kansas State Teachers College. Lec- tures with laboratories play an important part in Nlr. Koch's classes.
