And Then . . . When I think of all the fun, hard work, and late hours spent on this book, I wish to express my thanks to everyone who contributed to its success. A special thanks to Gary Whitt and David Hyslop who helped when things were really rough, and for that little extra encour- agement. Congratulations to the section editors who finally turned their pages in: Laura Zin- chook, Gary Uldriks, Nancy Hopkins, Liz Kemjf Nyla Nutt, Pam Pavlik, Jane Randall and Sue Beebe. We would never have made that last deadline without the help of: Mary Ellen Jasinski, Kathy McMahon, Linda Werk- ley, Sue King, Sharlene Davis, Sally Watson. Barb Greeman, Dian Meyers, Sandy Miller, Carol Schuster, John Jarvi, Linda Taylor, Sharon Hunt, Linda Gatlzf and many others. The words, When are you going to print those pictures , were very significant to the photographers: Bill Sedert, Bill Heath, Allan Stamberg, A1 Ivany, Jay Livingston, Tom Brayton, Louie Kolb, Dick Simpson. Other sources of photographs were: News and Pub- lication, Western Herald, Mr. Lance Ferrara, Bennett Studios, and the Kalamazoo Gazette. Special projects were instituted by the Brown and Gold this year with the help of: President James Miller, Mr. Arthur 0fConnor, Alpha Phi Omega, and all the girls who helped with the Senior section. There are always people behind the scene whose knowledge and advice are vital: Mr. Joe Freeman, Advisor, Mr. Sam Fields-Delma Studios, Mr. Robert Miller- S. K. Smith Company, Mr. Ed. Hackleman -American Yearbook Company. Rodney Henderson, the most important man behind the scene, who consented to postpone our marriage for the sake of a yearbook.
