With pre-registration and IBM processing most stu- dents no longer have to face the hectic Hnes for registration in the Fieldhouse. Of course, the late comers still have that special day of trying, often in vain, to fill empty hours with classes. The book hsts posted by instructors are still available to provide that needed frustration of those first days. Proceeding pre-registration and preceding classes. Western ' s grid season opened September 15 at Waldo Stadium. The Bronco ' s victory over Central started a new year of campus life off on the right foot. And of course, the perpetual social whirl of college life began with various campus dances sponsored by the donni tones. As life settles down to the normal routine of classes and exams, many students even find it necessary to open their new texts. It ' s quite a disappointment for some to find that they are expected to study them also. LATE REGISTRATION brings back memories of those terrifying days in the Fieldhouse, and the days before IBM. IT HAS BEEN SAID that if a student can successfully register, find his classes, and get the proper books, he can pass any course in the University.

I ' m tiying to figure how many more days be- fore I ' m 21 aw, go back to sleep. I ' ve called off classes today ain ' t college swell! THERE ' S MORE than one way to catch your man.
