In the time that he has been with us, we have increasingly learned to appreciate him as a teacher and friend. He is a person with whom students enioy working and for whom they have the deepest respect. For his delightful humor and his understanding of students' problems we will long remember him. 4 1 9 5 5 1 0 RCB Cvmsw-x-X mon sox-xoox WESTERN PMCMXG N4 Muskegon, Nfxdfxgon M. . . . You have been trained and educated for many a year by exper- ienced and devoted Christian teachers. Be ye my witnessess, they must have said to you many a time. With that thought left indelibly in your mind you will go forward being a witness 'for your Lord and Savior in the days ahead. Our earnest prayer is that God the Father and the Lord Jesus 'Christ His Son, through the operation of the Holy Spirit, may keep, guard, and protect each one of you all the days of your life. The main function of our Priscilla P.T.A. is for mutual cooperation and understanding between parents and teachers. This society, composed of both mothers and fathers and all friends and supporters of our Christian grade and high schools, has worked faithfully through the various com- mittees with their capable chairmen, to help our schools morally and materially by presenting gifts to our bands, libraries, laboratories, kitchens, and to our new grade school building. This organ- ization has done much and is continuing their efforts to work for a combined gym-auditorium building. The programs at our monthly meetings are planned so that there may be, as nearly as possible, a complete coordination between the teacher, stu- dent and parent. All praise goes to our God who gave us such a prosperous year in the extension of our member- ship and for the wonderful cooperation and sup- port in all our plans and proiects. May it please God to continue His blessings upon our efforts and may we have faith and trust to go on into the future. 17 PERSONNEL In a quiet, thorough way Dick does the thousand and one tasks that keep our building neat and trim. Responsible for the deli- cious, health-giving noon lunches are Mrs. Zand- vliet and Mrs. Vriesman. 18 All the necessary paper work flows smoothly through the hands of Mrs. Sovocool. PRINCIPAUS MESSAGE OUR CREED Now that you have been together four years through this Christian High School it is safe to assume that you have been led to believe certain truths which will cause you to be stamped as different from the run-of-the-mill graduate today. A listing of some of these truths you hold dear may serve to remind you of the most important phases of your school life: l. Christ is your Head. 2. You endeavor to yield Him wholehearted allegiance at all times. 3. You gratefully acknowledge His guidance and sustaining grace in the past. 4. Daily you feel His presence about you and seek to bring Him into focus in all your studies and activities. 5. With utmost faith in Him you face the future. Young people, we sincerely hope that the moulding of your lives during the past four years has been entirely according to His will. God bless you all. It was a mild surprise to Doctor Haggett and his family and especially to Abby, the servant girl, when an old friend of Bean's dropped in and paid Bean's old bill and took away a couple of pictures as mementos. lt was a bigger surprise when another old friend of Bean's turned up on a similar errand. And the biggest surprise of all was when a great New York art critic arrived to pay his respects to the memory of the dead artist. And it was overwhelming when they learned that Christopher's daubs were worth a fortune. In their greed for money, they scurried to find them. The 40 mad scramble that followed and its effects on the persons it involves make the play delightfully amusing. CAST Dr, Haggett ,,,,,,,, ,,,,,, H oward Vanderwell Susan Haggett ......
