Vice Principals Run Tight Ship Mr. Richard Berg Mrs. Thelma Cole Mr. James Ingram tilflitt, tzgfuftit, l ' Mr. James Ingram checl-is the daily cut sheet. Mrs. Thelma Cole confers with a parent about a discipline problem. Our Vice Principals worked very hard to insure that everything ran smoothly this year. Each Assistant Principal was assigned specific duties and groups of students to provide a more individualized ap- proach to school. Mr. Richard Berg was in charge of all locker assignments and handl- ed the downstairs area. Mrs. Thelma Cole handled one-third of the student body and tools care of scheduling and class loads. Mr. '- James Ingram concerned himself ' with all textbook issuance and other teaching aides. The counsel- ing staff consisting of Mrs. Shirley Cheek, Mrs. Moynette Dowler, Mrs. Bevlia Curley, and Ms. Jean La Due, guided students through their academic endeavors. Mrs. Moynette Dowler said that the counseling program is designed to support the students. Through workshops and seminars, they helped students plan their college high school program and make im- portant post high school decisions. Mrs. Virginia Sheffield was the school nurse. She was responsible for many things in addition to car- ing for ill students. She stored and recorded student immunization data, kept all emergency cards and conducted athletic physicals. She also participates in annual blood drives, but she says her main interest is the students' well being.
