Department Encourages Business Skills Development of office skills was maintained through the guidance of eight business education instructors. Mrs. Melva Houston and Miss Mary Monarch supervised the progression of their typing students, while Mrs. Mary Foust instructed shorthand. Mrs. Sharon Chitwood worked with voca- tional office education students. Pine Arts Develop Creat1v1t Discovering and developing individ- ual talents was the aim of the art, drama, and music classes. Mr. Ed Curry encouraged his students to openly display their artistic abilities in painting, sculpture, and various crafts. Speech and drama students uncovered communicative skills under the direc- tion of Mrs. Juanita McCulloh. The chorus was conducted by Mrs. Jewell Kelly and the band found its leadership in Mr. Jerry Jones. TOP: Don't come any closer, pleads a most communicative Mrs. Juanita McCulloh.
