Mrs. Melba Jackson sponsored the Mountain Line, the school newspaper, and the Odyssey, the creative writing magazine. Mr. Eric Mann supervised the annual staff while Mrs. Odessa Coultas continued her work with the student council. An aviation class was offered by Mr. Gerald McCombs and Mrs. Geraldine Karol conducted Plan An along with her aide, Mrs. Mary Coddington. Miss Linda Brown became engaged to Coach Richard Allie, and Mrs. Rebecca Tyndall divided her time between English and Latin.
