Team teaching was brought out well by Mrs. Odessa Coultas, Miss Karen Noel, Mrs. Kay- marie McNerney, Mrs. Linda Prevost and Mrs. Juanita McCullaoh. Aides Mrs. Bettye Gomez and Mrs. Jayne Heru'y were a part of the English Department. Mrs. Melba Jackson and Mr. Eric Mann collaborated in journalism as well as in English. Mr. Gerald McCombs, an English teacher, approached a new course, aviation, for the first time this year. Mrs. Ethel Davis, Mrs. Winifred Elliott, Miss Donna Grigsby, Mrs. Jan Guess, Mrs. Jane Thompson, and Mrs. Marie Young all contributed knowledge to the English De- partment. Service Individuals Stress Need for Cooperation Much time was devoted to our students by the personnel at our school. A new faculty member, Mr. Ulysses Cox, was the director of the ICT Program. Dealing with the field of distributive education, Mr. Thomas Parks supervised this course, in addi- tion to selling tickets to school activities. lVlrs. Peggy Herring, with the help of Mrs. Hazel Craig, had the large job of maintaining the school library. Two new additions to the staff were Mr. Edward Trantham and lVlr. Frank Jones. They also sponsored school clubs and activities. .i TOP: A new program to Western Hills, ICT, is dir- ected by Mr. U. S. Cox.
