Sounds of musical instru- ments intermingle with lines of the class play, as performers get in some early practice. Nearer the gym, one may hear splashes of water as members of the swimming team race and dive in a before- school practice session. About eight o'clock the line at the bookstore lengthens, the sound of friend- ly chattering floats through the halls, and a bustle of activity fills the library. Soon clanging lockers and running footsteps resound as the Warning bell rings. l-lomeroom is in session. Qur day in the world of study has begun.
