Should it fail to do so, no other institution could heal the breach, government of, by, and for the people must inevitably fall. It is the teacher's first duty to aid her pupils in the impartial search for truth, even at personal sacrifice, it is equally the obligation of the parent to support the school in this stand by the full weight of public opinion.
