The lihrarians are ready and willing to help any student in the hest xvay that they are capahle. At the left are Miss V. Glass and Miss C. Logue, l'usy at their work. helping the students select the hooks that are most valuahle, and the ones most liheral in their views, for it is the liheral person who sees hoth sides of a question without any prejudice whatsoever The lihrarians also suggest to the stu dents that they read varied types of hooks on science, social studies, English. history, and all types of literature. Coming up the stairs is Miss A. Geeting going to lunch. She has stopped for a moment to let a picture he taken of her. Miss Geeting is one of our social studies teachers. In the upper right hand corner xve see Mr. xl. Lewis discussing with his ,lunior High school class a prohlem in civics that every young American should hegin to think ahout, Likewise, Miss D, Slutz, a social studies teacher pictured in the lower right hand corner, is going over every detail of a pressing prolnlem that is to come after the war has heen won. lt is the social studies teachers that hring to our attention the vital prolilems that we, the youth of America, must help to solve hy studying ahout their causes and preventative measures novv. They try to make it clear that we cannot wait till we are well on in our years, hut we must start to think ahout it now. 18

Riley and Mr. H. Yung, pictured at the right of the page. Theirs is an important position, for without the hasis of math the stu' dents would he at a total loss when they reach the higher forms of high school math and college math, They are very exact and minute in their teaching hecause math, though not very dillicult, niust he exact to the highest degree. She not only teaches algehra and trigf ononietry, liut also she unveils the mysteries of flying. through navigation, radio code, and aeronautics.
