Things outside our corner of the world are changing. lt's im- possible to miss the change in the weather. CaIifornia's long standing drought ended, and several teachers wondered if they were going to be conducting classes from life rafts. Many students also considered renting waders to go out to the park- ing lot, or simply to get around campus. The School Board's decision to go back to basics will also affect Westhi students. The Classes of '79 and '80 may find themselves in such classes as Economics, and working for more credits to graduate than previous classes. Reading, writing and 'rithmatic, here we come! As we change and want bigger and better things, money be- comes a definate need. Pioneers can be found everywhere so do the rewards. Cars, trucks and mopeds are favorite, if not expensive, investments. So are the stereos, rims, and tires that go withthem. After all, if ya' gotta' get to school, ya' might X from Burger King to Judy's to Sears. As the job better as well do it with style! . NG 1. Ms. Campbell and Ms. Payne enjoy a chat on the way in. 2.
