There are far horizons and beautiful prospects holding the largeness and mystery and wonder of lifeg Before us lies the rising sun beckoning us to follow into the new dayg Step upon the ship, sail toward the dawn, together, let us begin our bold adventure into the futureg Let us be guarded by broad minds and open eyes unless we be blinded by prejudice and bigotryg Let us be guided by love and understanding so that the storms of war, famine, and poverty may be by-passed on the voyageg May our course be charted by nobility and honor so that any task encountered may better the seas on which we sailg The ability of every crewman should be considered and well-respected For, if the whole is minus a part, the whole will not functiong Freedom should not be denied any man, nor any force allowed to restrict the thoughts and expressions considered by one's conscious as good The present has already been determined by the voyagers of the past Yet, we are free to determine the futureg Let us reach boldly and valiantly toward the rising sun, using every skill and piece of knowledge That we have leamed, and begin our voyage into the future ....
