Autumn opened door to a new school year 2 Wg' T ' FJ Autumn 1966 was the first stop for the '67 Pioneeris joumey through the seasons. Fall marked the beginning of a new school year for the Westhi students. Pre-registration days were set aside for the entire student body to arrange their class schedules and for the incoming Sopho- mores to become oriented to Western's campus and activi- ties. With a renewed sense of pride for their school, the student body was ready to demonstrate the Spirit of the West. The band and drill team coin- cided to present entertaining half-time shows, while the cheerleaders and songleaders provoked school spirit among the students at football games. Combining traditional Home- coming and Beat Anaheim Week proved to be the highlight of the fall season. A feeling of nostalgia filled the hearts of the alumni as they attended Home- coming events.
