HE memories of our high school days will always be with us, because we have found at Western such satisfaction and happiness. In our studies we have been taught to work honestly, to think intelligently, and to deal fairly with each other. We have been impressed with the importance of co-operation in outside activities as well as in the classroom, and we have shared the zest and enthusiasm of other girls who have been a part of Western. We have cherished the beauty of our school-the reds and yellows of the trees in autumn, the campus blanketed in snow, the blossoms on the cherry trees in spring. Through the years we have made many friendships which have been strengthened by the common bond of love for a school. As an expression of our love and gratitude we, the Class of 1949, dedicate our yearbook to Western.
