The We-Hi-Wa staff is proud to present a book of memories to the individuals of W.H.S. We worked many long and tiring hours to publish a yearbook which we feel conveys a true picture of Western. We truly hope this yearbook will hold many fond memories for each of you. As co-editors, we would like to thank Mrs. Barbara Roark and Mrs. Loyce Petersen for their endless vigil of working with us. As a year of transition, 1973 brought changes in the yearbook publication as a contract was signed with a new publishing company and as Mr. Gordon Plumblee became our official photographer. A special thanks goes to Mr. Plumblee and his pho- tography staff. We sincerely appreciate the annual staff who stayed long hours after school to meet deadlines, and who worked on any assigned job without complaints, and helped in preparing what we feel is a great yearbook.
