A new group on the West- ern scene this year is the Drama Class directed by Mrs. Dorothy Westafer. Although handicapped by lack of stag- ing facilities, the group has created a great deal of in- terest through their dramatic presentations. At times the hall outside the door of the drama room reverberate with sound as the actors play their chosen roles. Dramatics Sherleen Smith, JoAnn Anderson, Howard Barnhardt, Richard Dew, David Scott, Martha Hughes, Joan Dickerson, Becky Chatham, Cindy Robertson, Pam Anderson, Rachel Somers, Brenda Petersen, Judy Price, Penny Simp- son, Kay Wagoner, Mrs. Dorothy Westafer. Gerry Oxford, Buddy Rumfelt, Steve Richards, Mrs. Dorothy Westafer, Tommy Kenyon, Virginia Perkins, Bruce Garmon. Another new group on the campus this year is the Debating Club. These people spend many hours debating and discussing current topics. They are participating in state competition and are quite active in voicing their arguments.
