student council Council Represents Student Body mil 3 This year's Student Council kept itself and the school busy by sponsoring many events. Dances came back into popularity this year in the form of after game mixers. Two concerts were given during the year, a break in the usual school day routine. A mod- ern dance assembly and a judo demonstration also kep the Stu- dent Council busy. Besides entertaining the student body Student Council sponsored student Exchange days with con- ference schools and received permission to sell ice cream dur- ing Iunches. Service projects in- cluded the supporting of an American underpriveledged boy and the annual auction to raise money for a childrens burn cen- ter in Saigon. 62
