Guest speaker was Mr. Robert Husband, Dean of Stu- dents at Spring Arbor College. With Survival-The Last Chapter as his topic, he addressed the senior class. Rev. Ed. graduation Student Speakers Highlight Ceremony This year's graduation exercises, taking place on May 31 on the athletic field, were highlighted by student speakers for the first time in the school's history. The focal point of the five speeches was Was lt Education ... Or Just Schooling? Topics ranged from Individu- ality to Evolution. The graduating class, numbering 127, received their diplomas from School Board Members, Kenneth Bear- dslee, lra C. Livingston, and Lyle McArthur. Because of Western's recent advancements in sports, the senior class decided to donate a new trophy case as the class gift.
