varsity Squads Cheer Sports Teams During Seasons A cheerleaders work begins long before the games start. This summer, two varsity and two j.v. cheerleaders went to the Ameri- can Spirit Association camp in Midland. The girls learned many new cheers, chants, skits and stunts which proved helpful dur- ing the year. Other clinics the squds attended were held at Northwest High and at the Y.lVl.C.A. in Jackson. During the year the girls held bake sales, and sold pins, shakers and programs to raise money.
