Ari Class Requires Hard Work and Determination , . ,Ay,,,..,....s 'x The Arts and Crafts department of WHS was certainly not lacking in variety this year. Besides the traditionally offered classes such as painting, film, ceramics, and photography: there were many new interests. One of these was air- brushing, a process used to decorate T-shirts and Vans. These omamented articles of clothing could be seen on many students this year. When asked about differences in the department between this year and last, art teacher Mrs. Slade remarked upon the lower number of students enrolled in art clas- ses this year. She feels that this is due, in part, to the stricter requirements en- forced bythe Clark County School Dis- trict.
