Students Learn the uBusiness of Drafting The Business Department has expanded a great deal This year. The newest addition was Coach Hayden's Business and Law Class. This class let students face real life problems dealing with business and law. First and second year accounting classes taught students the basic skills needed for doing income taxes and other things that they will need to know in the future. Co-Op and Work Experience gave students a chance to experience the working world and what it is like. Other classes such as shorthand, office machines, general busi- ness, and record keeping were also offered. Coach Hayden believes that these Business courses gave the students a solid business background, and since society today is run on a business atmosphere, these courses were very helpful. Drafting classes gave students an under- standing of basic architecture by teaching them the basic ideas behind designing homes. Each student completed a number of projects, including the designing of a home. By taking drafting, students widened their interest as to a future in architecture. ,gl 4 . B A rf' . - ,,.p.:.
